Assemblymember Juan Alanis proudly announced yesterday that two of his K-12 education bills, AB 1796 and AB 1871, have successfully passed out of the Assembly Education Committee unanimously. AB 1796 requires local educational agencies to inform parents and guardians about dual enrollment and International Baccalaureate courses available at their child's school.
