Description: The Commission on Aging is an advisory council to the Area Agency on Aging. They are a volunteer group that provides information, guidance, and support to the Area Agency to develop, coordinate, and administer services to older persons in Stanislaus County.
Most services provided through the Area Agency on Aging are funded by the Federal "Older American Act" legislation.
