Assemblyman Juan Alanis, who represents California’s 22nd Assembly District, recently used his social media platform to highlight community achievements and commemorate national observances.
On February 14, 2026, Alanis congratulated a local youth organization by posting: “Congratulations to the Boys & Girls Club of Stanislaus County on the celebration of your new Dream Court! In partnership with Nancy Lieberman Charities and Sport Court, this incredible space will give young people a safe place to play, build friendships, and strengthen positive”.
In another post on February 16, 2026, he marked a federal holiday by stating: “Honoring the leaders who shaped our nation and the principles that continue to guide us forward. This President’s Day, we reflect on the vision, courage, and service of those who have led our country, and recommit ourselves to building a stronger future for all.”
Alanis also recognized an important agricultural sector in his district on February 17, 2026. He wrote: “Today is National Almond Day! From orchard to table, almonds support local jobs, strengthen our economy, and showcase the innovation of our Central Valley communities. I am proud to recognize and support the growers, processors, and families who keep California growing.”
The Boys & Girls Club of Stanislaus County serves young people in California’s Central Valley by providing programs aimed at fostering academic success and healthy lifestyles. The Dream Court project was developed in collaboration with Nancy Lieberman Charities—an organization known for building basketball courts in underserved communities—and Sport Court. President’s Day is a federal holiday observed annually in February to honor past presidents of the United States. Almond production is a significant part of California’s agricultural economy; the state produces approximately 80% of the world’s almonds.
