On August 26, 2025, Alanis expressed appreciation for an Assembly Fellow who contributed to his office over the past year. He stated, “My team and I are truly grateful to have welcomed Matthew as our Assembly Fellow this past year. Since December, he has been an integral part of our legislative team, contributing to several key bills and initiatives. It was an honor to recognize him alongside the many Assembly”.
Later that day, Alanis acknowledged the anniversary of the ratification of the 19th Amendment with a post on its historical significance. He wrote on August 26: “On this day in 1920, the 19th Amendment was ratified, securing women the right to vote. It marked a major step forward in American democracy and expanded the promise of equal representation. Today, we recognize that achievement and honor the generations of women who made it”.
The following day, on August 27, Alanis reported on a local event involving his staff’s participation with area businesses: “On Monday, my team joined the Modesto Chamber of Commerce in celebrating Modern Urgent Care’s opening of their newest location in Modesto. Congratulations & best wishes to as you contribute to the well-being of our communities!”
